Emily Coates

Emily Lauren Coates is an English actress known for her roles in the BBC Three comedy Ladhood and the Netflix series Cursed. Born in Basingstoke, Hampshire, Coates began her acting career with the National Youth Theatre and trained with the Actors Class before appearing in local stage productions in Petersfield. In 2019, she made her television debut in Ladhood and had a recurring role in the sitcom Warren. Coates also made guest appearances in Flack and Ackley Bridge. In 2020, she played the villain Sister Iris in the Netflix series Cursed. Coates is set to make her feature film debut in Disney's live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid, premiering in 2023.
