Eric Clapton

Eric Patrick Clapton is an English rock and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Born on March 30, 1945, he is widely regarded as one of the most successful and influential guitarists in rock music. Clapton has been ranked second on Rolling Stone's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" and fourth on Gibson's "Top 50 Guitarists of All Time". He gained fame by playing with bands like the Yardbirds and John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers. Clapton later formed the power trio Cream and the blues rock band Blind Faith. Throughout his career, he has released numerous successful albums and has made significant contributions to the world of music.
