Eugene Levy is a Canadian actor and comedian, born on December 17, 1946. He gained recognition for his portrayal of flustered and unconventional characters. Levy has received numerous awards, including four Primetime Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. In 2011, he was appointed to the Order of Canada, and in 2022, he was made a Companion of the Order of Canada. Levy began his career on the Canadian television sketch series SCTV, where he also won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing. He has appeared in various films, such as National Lampoon's Vacation, Splash, Multiplicity, and the American Pie series. From 2015 to 2020, he starred as Johnny Rose in the sitcom Schitt's Creek.
