Eugenio Derbez Biography
Eugenio González Derbez (born September 2, 1961) is a Mexican actor and comedian known for his appearances in various films and television series. Some of his notable roles include The Book of Life, The Angry Birds Movie 2, and CODA. Derbez also provided Spanish dubs for characters in American films like Dr. Dolittle, Mulan, and the Shrek franchise. He made his directorial debut in 1997 with the Mexican soap opera No Tengo Madre. Derbez grew up in Mexico City and began his acting career at a young age, first as an extra in soap operas at age 12. He has been living in Los Angeles and is married to Alessandra Rosaldo, with whom he has four children.
