    Ezra Koenig (born April 8, 1984) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, producer, and internet radio personality. He gained fame as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter of indie rock band Vampire Weekend. Koenig is also known for creating the animated comedy series Neo Yokio on Netflix and hosting the Apple Music radio talk show 'Time Crisis with Ezra Koenig.' As of 2023, the show is currently airing its ninth season. Throughout his career, Koenig has been recognized with five Grammy Award nominations, winning twice for Best Alternative Music Album. He was also nominated for Album of the Year for his production work on Beyoncé's Lemonade. Koenig was born in New York City and comes from a Jewish family that emigrated to the U.S.
