Faith Salie (born April 14, 1971) is an American journalist, writer, actress, comedian, television, radio, and podcast host. She is known for her contributions to CBS Sunday Morning and as a panelist on NPR's Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!. Salie has also hosted Science Goes To The Movies on PBS and CUNY TV. As a storyteller for The Moth, her story has been viewed over 4 million times. In 2016, Salie published her first book, Approval Junkie, a collection of daring and funny essays chronicling her lifelong quest for approval. She adapted the book into a solo show that premiered Off-Broadway in 2021 after debuting at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta in 2019.
