Farrah Leni Fawcett (February 2, 1947 – June 25, 2009) was an American actress known for her iconic role as Jill Munroe in the television series Charlie's Angels. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, Fawcett began her career in the 1960s with commercials and guest roles on TV. In the 1970s, she appeared in several TV series, including recurring roles on Harry O and The Six Million Dollar Man alongside her then-husband Lee Majors. Fawcett gained international fame for her role in Charlie's Angels and her red swimsuit poster, which sold six million copies in its first year. She received four Primetime Emmy Award nominations and six Golden Globe Award nominations during her career.
