Florian Zeller

Florian Zeller (born June 28, 1979) is a French novelist, playwright, theatre director, screenwriter, and film director. He gained recognition for his writing, winning the Prix Interallié for his novel, 'The Fascination of Evil,' in 2004. Zeller's plays have also received numerous awards. In 2020, he made his directorial debut with the film adaptation of his own play, 'The Father.' The movie, starring Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman, garnered critical acclaim and received multiple nominations at prestigious awards ceremonies including the Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and British Academy Film Awards. Zeller's talent extends to the literary world as well, with his novels attracting attention, including his third novel, 'The Fascination of Evil,' which was shortlisted for the prestigious Prix Goncourt.
