    Francesca Fowler Biography
    Francesca Fowler is a British actress and screenwriter born in 1985 in Hammersmith, London. She made her acting debut in the British TV film, Like Father Like Son for ITV, and went on to appear in various BBC TV series and HBO's Rome alongside Ray Stevenson. Fowler also appeared in the 2007 thriller film Straightheads alongside Gillian Anderson and Danny Dyer. She was part of the fourth new series of Doctor Who and starred in the Vegan horror film The Herd in 2014. Fowler is also a talented screenwriter, with her debut short film 28 Years Later being nominated for Best Comedy at the Portobello Film Festival. She won the award for Best Screenwriter at the 2012 Underwire Film Festival for her screenplay Pitfall. In 2019, she won BAFTA Rocliffe TV Comedy.
