    Frank Anthony Iero, Jr. (born October 31, 1981) is an American musician known for his role as the rhythm guitarist and backup vocalist of the rock band My Chemical Romance. He is also a guitarist in the supergroup L.S. Dunes and was the lead vocalist of the post-hardcore band Leathermouth. In addition to his band work, Iero has a solo project titled 'Frank Iero and the Future Violents,' previously known as 'frnkiero andthe cellabration' and 'Frank Iero and the Patience.' He released his debut solo album, 'Stomachaches,' on August 26, 2014. Born in Belleville, New Jersey, Iero faced health challenges during his childhood, including frequent hospitalizations due to bronchitis and ear infections. He attended Queen of Peace High School and dropped out of Rutgers University in his final year to pursue a career in music.
