Franklin Andrew "Frankie" Rodriguez is an American actor best known for his role as Carlos Rodriguez on the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Born and raised in Selma, California, Rodriguez is of Mexican descent. He attended grade schools in Selma before transferring to a private school and eventually graduating from Sanger High School. Rodriguez is a proud member of the LGBTQ community and has been in a relationship with fellow High School Musical: The Musical: The Series actor Joe Serafini since late 2019. In addition to his role on High School Musical, Rodriguez has appeared in the Dekkoo series I'm Fine and had recurring and guest roles in TV shows such as Modern Family and This Close.
