Gail Maurice

Gail Maurice is a Canadian actress, writer, and producer known for her notable performances in various films and television series. She gained recognition for her role as the title character in the film Johnny Greyeyes and as Dorothy Pine in the television series Cardinal. Maurice also appeared as Georgina in the television series Trickster. She is the head of Assini Productions, a film studio that has produced several films including Smudge, Kihtwam misawac na-wapamitin, Assini, and Rosie. Maurice co-wrote and starred in the film Québexit, which won the Borsos Competition award for Best Screenplay at the 2020 Whistler Film Festival. She has received nominations for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Program or Series for Trickster and Best Supporting Actress in a Film for Night Raiders at the Canadian Screen Awards.
