Garrett Hedlund is an American actor and musician. He was born on September 3, 1984, in Roseau, Minnesota. Hedlund's notable film credits include Troy (2004), Friday Night Lights (2004), Four Brothers (2005), Eragon (2006), Death Sentence (2007), Tron: Legacy (2010), Country Strong (2010), On the Road (2012), Inside Llewyn Davis (2013), Unbroken (2014), Pan (2015), Mudbound (2017), Triple Frontier (2019), and The Marsh King's Daughter (2023). He is the youngest of three children and was raised on a beef cattle farm near Wannaska, Minnesota. In 9th grade, he moved to Arizona to live with his mother. Hedlund has a passion for reading and has been involved in ice hockey during his school years.
