Greg McHugh

Greg McHugh is a Scottish actor and writer, born on January 5, 1980 in Morningside, Edinburgh. He is best known as the creator, writer, and star of the BBC1 comedy series Gary: Tank Commander. McHugh also played the role of Howard in the Channel 4 comedy Fresh Meat. He attended St Peter's RC primary school and St Thomas of Aquin's High School before studying business at the University of Stirling. He later trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. McHugh's native accent is a softer variation of the Edinburgh accent. In addition to his television work, he has made appearances in shows such as Still Game and Not Safe for Work.
