Haley Lu Richardson is an American actress born on March 7, 1995, in Phoenix, Arizona. She started her career with television roles on Disney Channel's Shake It Up (2013) and ABC Family's Ravenswood (2013–2014). In 2016, Richardson gained recognition for her performances in the coming-of-age film The Edge of Seventeen and the psychological horror film Split. Her breakthrough role came in the independent drama Columbus (2017), earning her a nomination for Best Actress at the Gotham Independent Film Awards.
