About PONIES
PONIES is an American buddy spy thriller television series created by Susanna Fogel and David Iserson for Peacock, starring Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson. The series, which premiered on January 15, 2026, is set in 1977 Moscow and follows two American embassy secretaries—dubbed "PONIES" (persons of no interest)—who are recruited by the CIA after their husbands die under mysterious circumstances and who expose a Cold War conspiracy.
