Hannah Simone

Hannah Simone (born 3 August 1980) is a Canadian actress, television host, and former VJ and fashion model. She is best known for her role as Cece Parekh on the Fox sitcom New Girl. Born in London to an Indian father and a British mother of German, Italian, and Greek Cypriot descent, Simone spent her early childhood in Calgary, Canada. She then moved through three continents, attending schools in each one. At the age of 13, she began working as a fashion model in Cyprus. Simone later attended the American Embassy School in New Delhi before returning to Canada. After obtaining a degree, she worked as a human rights and refugees officer for the United Nations. Simone's notable TV appearances include New Girl and hosting the reality show Wipeout Canada.
