Heather Ann McDonald is an American stand-up comedian, actress, and author. Born on June 14, 1970, in the San Fernando Valley, she was raised in Southern California by her real estate agent parents. McDonald gained recognition for her appearances on the E! series Chelsea Lately, where she was one of the eight writers and often participated in sketches and segments. She also wrote and appeared in the show's spin-off, After Lately. Additionally, McDonald hosts the popular pop culture podcast 'Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald.' In 2010, her memoir about her college years made the Bestseller List of the New York Times. McDonald is of three quarters Irish and one quarter French-Canadian descent and attended the University of Southern California, where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority.
