Heather Simms

Heather Alicia Simms is an American actress born on February 25, 1970, in Hartford, Connecticut. She was raised in New York City and attended Midwood High School in Brooklyn. Simms has appeared in numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, including 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom,' 'A Raisin in the Sun,' and 'Gem of the Ocean.' Her film credits include 'Broken Flowers' (2005), 'The Nanny Diaries' (2007), and 'The Light of the Moon.' Simms has also provided voice acting for several video games, such as 'Red Dead Revolver' and 'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.' On television, she has guest-starred in series like 'Homicide: Life on the Street,' 'Law & Order,' and 'The Good Wife.' Simms had recurring roles in the Netflix series 'Luke Cage' (2018) and the Oprah Winfrey Network prime time soap opera 'The Kings of Napa' (2022) as Auntie Ingrid and Yvette King, respectively.
