Heidi Gardner

Heidi Lynn Gardner (born July 27, 1983) is an American actress, comedian, and writer. She is best known for her role as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, where she has been a member since 2017. Gardner debuted as a featured player in season 43 and was later promoted to repertory status in season 45. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Gardner developed her interest in performing through her part-time job at the Tivoli Theater. She initially pursued a career in music, playing the flute in her school band, but eventually found her passion in comedy and acting. Gardner graduated from Notre Dame de Sion, an all-girls Catholic high school, in 2001.
