Ian Hart Biography
Ian Hart, born Ian Davies on October 8, 1964, is an English actor known for his remarkable performances in various television shows and films. He gained recognition for his roles in 'One Summer' (1983), 'Backbeat' (1994), 'Land and Freedom' (1995), 'Michael Collins' (1996), and 'Liam' (2000). Hart's portrayal of Professor Quirrell in 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' (2001) and Ludwig van Beethoven in 'Eroica' (2003) further solidified his talent. He has also appeared in television series such as 'My Mad Fat Diary' (2013–2015) and 'The Last Kingdom' (2015–2020) as Father Beocca. In 2022, Hart starred in 'The Responder'. Born and raised in Liverpool, Hart attended Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School and studied drama at Mabel Fletcher College of Music and Drama.
