Ignacyo Matynia Biography
Ignacyo Mateusz Matynia (born May 29, 1992) is a Polish-American actor known for his performance in the Lifetime original film My Nightmare Landlord (2020). He was born in Busko Zdroj, Poland and moved to the United States with his family in 1995, settling in Staten Island, NY. After graduating from Xaverian High School in 2010, Matynia initially pursued a career in medicine but discovered his passion for acting while studying at the SUNY University of Albany. He dropped out of college in 2013 to pursue acting full-time and worked part-time as a DJ. Matynia was discovered by Sedly Bloomfield of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in 2014, leading to numerous roles in short films and recognition at film festivals.
