Isaac Mizrahi

Isaac Mizrahi (born October 14, 1961) is an American fashion designer, actor, singer, television presenter, and chief designer of the Isaac Mizrahi brand for Xcel Brands. He is best known for his eponymous fashion lines and has been a prominent figure in the fashion industry. Mizrahi has also ventured into acting and has appeared in various TV shows and movies. He gained recognition as a judge on Project Runway All Stars and portrayed the character Amos Hart in the long-running Broadway revival of Chicago in 2022. Born in Brooklyn to parents of Egyptian-Jewish and Syrian-Jewish descent, Mizrahi developed a passion for fashion at a young age and launched his own label, IS New York, as a teenager. He has received formal training at renowned institutions like the Parsons School of Design.
