Jack Barton

Jack Barton was an English professional rugby league footballer who played as a forward for Wigan between 1901 and 1910. Born in Standish, Barton began his career with Standish South End before joining Wigan in 1901. He played 213 first team games for Wigan, scoring 15 tries. Barton featured in notable matches such as the 1905 Lancashire Cup Final draw against Leigh and the subsequent replay, as well as the 1908 Lancashire Cup Final victory over Oldham. Barton's birth and death dates are unknown.
