Jacob Vargas Biography
Jacob Vargas is a Mexican-American actor, producer, and dancer. Born on August 18, 1971, in Michoacán, Mexico, he was raised in Pacoima, Los Angeles, California. Vargas attended San Fernando High School. With over thirty years of experience, he has established himself as a working actor. In 1992, Vargas appeared in American Me, and in 1995, he won the first ALMA Award for Emerging Artist of the Year for his performances in Mi Vida Loca and My Family. He also appeared in films such as Get Shorty (1995), Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997), and Traffic (2000), for which he earned a Screen Actors Guild Award and another ALMA Award. Vargas has also provided his voice for characters such as Max Steel in 1999.
