Lacy's performance in the HBO series The White Lotus earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. He has also appeared in television shows such as Better with You and I'm Dying Up Here. In film, Lacy has starred in Obvious Child, Carol, How to Be Single, Christmas Inheritance, Rampage, and Being the Ricardos. Lacy attended Otter Valley Union High School and graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
