James Dreyfus Biography
James Dreyfus is an English actor known for his roles in television sitcoms such as The Thin Blue Line and Gimme Gimme Gimme. Born on October 9, 1968, in Islington, London, Dreyfus was educated at Harrow School and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He gained his first television break with the BBC comedy series Absolutely Fabulous, followed by his memorable portrayal of Constable Kevin Goody in Ben Elton's sitcom The Thin Blue Line. Dreyfus has also appeared as Tom Farrell in Gimme Gimme Gimme and Reverend Roger in Mount Pleasant. In 1998, he won the Olivier Award for Best Supporting Performance in a Musical for his work in The Lady in the Dark at the National Theatre.
