Born on April 14, 1991, in Melbourne, Frecheville grew up in the suburb of Malvern East. He attended Lloyd Street Primary School and McKinnon Secondary College, where he discovered his passion for drama and the arts. Frecheville started his acting career as an extra on the Australian television series City Homicide and participated in acting courses at schools like The Australian Film & Television Academy. Auditions for Animal Kingdom took place in 2008, and Frecheville was among 500 young men competing for the role.
