James Gunn Biography
James Gunn is an American filmmaker and studio executive. He started his career as a screenwriter in the mid-1990s, working on films like Tromeo and Juliet. Gunn later transitioned to directing, helming movies such as Slither, Super, and the highly successful Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. He also directed The Suicide Squad and is set to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. In addition to his work in the superhero genre, Gunn was appointed as co-chairman and co-CEO of DC Studios under Warner Bros. Discovery. As part of this role, he will produce and executive produce projects in the DC Universe media franchise, including the upcoming film Superman: Legacy.
