James Russo Biography
James Vincent Russo is an American film and television actor. Born on April 23, 1953, in New York City, New York, Russo has appeared in over 150 films spanning three decades. He graduated from the High School of Art and Design and New York University (NYU) and wrote and starred in the award-winning short film The Candy Store. Before his acting career, Russo worked as a cab driver, construction worker, and gravedigger. He made his acting debut in the 1981 TV film Chicago Story and went on to star in several successful films of the 1980s. Russo gained recognition for his small role as a convenience store robber in the 1982 comedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High and for his role as Mikey Tandino in Beverly Hills Cop (1984).
