Jason Alexander

Jason Alexander, born Jay Scott Greenspan on September 23, 1959, is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his portrayal of George Costanza in the television series Seinfeld from 1989 to 1998. Throughout his career, Alexander has been recognized for his talent, earning a Tony Award for his role in Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along in 1981 and winning a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance in Jerome Robbins' Broadway in 1989. He has also appeared in various films, including Pretty Woman (1990), The Paper (1994), and Love! Valour! Compassion! (1997). In addition to his acting work, Alexander has directed musicals and served as the artistic director of 'Reprise! Broadway's Best in Los Angeles'.
