Jason Day Biography
Jason Anthony Day (born 12 November 1987) is an Australian professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He is a former world number one in the World Golf Ranking, having first achieved the ranking in September 2015. Day won his first major tournament at the 2015 PGA Championship, scoring a record 20 strokes under par and rising to number three in the world rankings. He also won the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in 2014 and 2016, joining Tiger Woods and Geoff Ogilvy as the only multiple winners of the tournament. Day was born in Beaudesert, Queensland and has Irish Australian and Filipino ancestry.
