Bartels gained popularity in 2016 on TikTok (then known as musical.ly), where she amassed over 8.3 million followers and posted over 5,000 videos. She is known for her roles on Disney Channel's Coop & Cami Ask the World and Nickelodeon's Side Hustle. Bartels has also made an appearance on Dance Moms alongside Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler.
