Jean Smart

Jean Elizabeth Smart (born September 13, 1951) is an American actress. She gained recognition for her role as Charlene Frazier Stillfield on the CBS sitcom Designing Women (1986-1991). Smart was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in the Broadway revival of The Man Who Came to Dinner in 2000. She received two Primetime Emmy Awards for her role as Lana Gardner on the NBC sitcom Frasier (2000-2001) and won a third Emmy for her supporting role on the ABC sitcom Samantha Who? (2007-2009). Smart has also appeared on the action drama series 24 (2006-2007) and had a recurring voice role on Kim Possible (2002-2007). She has recently gained popularity for her performances in television series like FX's Fargo (2015).
