Jeff Bezos

Jeffrey Preston Bezos, born on January 12, 1964, is an American businessman and the founder, executive chairman, and former president and CEO of Amazon, the largest e-commerce and cloud computing company globally. With a net worth of US$160 billion as of September 2023, Bezos is currently the third-wealthiest person in the world. He was the world's wealthiest person from 2017 to 2021, according to both the Bloomberg Billionaires Index and Forbes. Bezos, raised in Houston and Miami, graduated from Princeton University in 1986 with degrees in electrical engineering and computer science. After working on Wall Street, he founded Amazon in 1994 as an online bookstore, which later expanded to include various e-commerce products and services, making it the world's largest online sales company.
