Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Kate Hudson, also known as J.Hud, is an American singer, actress, and talk show host. Born on September 12, 1981, Hudson rose to fame as a finalist on the third season of American Idol in 2004, placing seventh. She made her film debut in the musical Dreamgirls (2006), winning an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and becoming the youngest African-American to win in a competitive acting category. Throughout her career, she has received accolades for her work in recorded music, film, television, and theater. Hudson is one of the few artists to achieve an EGOT, having won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. She was also named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time in 2020.
