Joanna Kulig Biography
Joanna Kulig is a Polish actress and singer, born on June 24, 1982. She gained recognition for her leading role in the 2018 historical drama film Cold War, which earned her the European Film Award and the Polish Academy Award for Best Actress. Kulig initially pursued a career as a jazz singer before enrolling at the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków, where she graduated in 2007. She made her stage debut while still in drama school and received critical acclaim for her performance in the 2007 film Wednesday, Thursday Morning. Kulig is known for collaborating with director Paweł Pawlikowski, appearing in three of his films.
