Joe Serafini

Joseph Ronald Serafini (born January 22, 1998) is an American actor best known for his role as Seb Matthew-Smith in the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Born in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, Serafini grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh. He developed his passion for performing at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy, where he was part of the 'Mini Stars' touring vocal group and received a Gene Kelly Award scholarship. After graduating from Bethel Park High School in 2016, Serafini went on to study at the University of Michigan, earning his degree in 2020. Throughout his career, he has showcased his talent in various productions, including A Musical Christmas Carol, Peter Pan, Oliver!, Les Misérables, The Sound of Music, Into the Woods, and Anything Goes. Additionally, Serafini teaches master classes at the Pittsburgh CLO and has performed in notable stage productions such as The Music Man and The Burnt Part Boys.
