John Diehl Biography
John Henry Diehl (born May 1, 1950) is an American character actor known for his extensive work in film and television. With over 140 credits to his name, Diehl has appeared in a variety of roles in movies such as Land of Plenty, Stripes, City Limits, Nixon, and Jurassic Park III. He has also made notable appearances on popular TV series, including Miami Vice, The Shield, and Point Pleasant. Diehl is a member of The Actors Studio since 2004 and has managed to avoid being typecast throughout his career. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Diehl moved to New York in 1970 before settling in Los Angeles in 1976.
