Jonathan Newth

Jonathan Newth (born 6 March 1939) is an English actor known for his work in theatre, television, and film. He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Throughout his career, Newth has appeared in various theatre productions, including performances with the Royal Shakespeare Company, in the West End, and on Broadway. On television, he has been credited in numerous shows such as Emergency Ward 10, The Six Wives of Henry VIII, Z-Cars, Doctor Who, The Professionals, and Heartbeat. He has also made appearances in films like Carry On Spying and Far from the Madding Crowd. Newth has been married to actress Gay Wilde since 1979 and they have four children.
