Joshua Bassett

Joshua Taylor Bassett (born December 22, 2000) is an American actor and singer. He gained recognition for his starring role as high school student Ricky Bowen in the popular TV series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (2019–2023), and its accompanying soundtracks. Bassett, born and raised in Oceanside, California, began his journey in musical theater at the age of eight and has since starred in over 30 musical productions. In 2017-2018, he made guest appearances in TV shows like Lethal Weapon, Game Shakers, and Dirty John. His first significant role came in early 2018 as Aidan Peters in the third and final season of the TV show Stuck in the Middle.
