Julie Klausner (born July 3, 1978) is an American writer, comedian, actress, and podcaster. She is best known for creating, writing, and starring in the Hulu sitcom Difficult People (2015–2017), alongside comedian Billy Eichner. Born in New York City and raised in Scarsdale, New York, Klausner is a graduate of New York University and has trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade and the School of Visual Arts. In addition to her work on Difficult People, Klausner gained early exposure when she appeared as a background camper in a segment of the special Camp MTV in 1989. Throughout her career, she has established herself as a talented multi-hyphenate in the entertainment industry.
