Juliette Lewis

Juliette Lewis is an American actress known for her portrayals of offbeat characters in films with dark themes. Born on June 21, 1973, she began her career in television at the age of 14 and made her film debut with a small role in My Stepmother Is an Alien (1988). Her breakthrough came with the comedy film National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989). Lewis gained critical acclaim for her portrayal of a troubled teenager in Martin Scorsese's thriller Cape Fear (1991), which earned her an Academy Award nomination. She has since appeared in numerous supporting roles in films such as Husbands and Wives (1992), Kalifornia (1993), What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), and From Dusk Till Dawn (1996). Her talents have also earned her nominations for a Golden Globe and two Primetime Emmy Awards.
