Karin Konoval

Karin Konoval (born June 4, 1961) is a Canadian-American actress known for her versatile roles in theatre, television, and films. With a career spanning over several decades, Konoval has garnered recognition for her supporting and lead roles in various feature films such as Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and War for the Planet of the Apes, where she portrayed the memorable character of Maurice the Orangutan. She has also appeared in popular television series including Snowpiercer and The Good Doctor. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Konoval grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Theatre History from the University of Alberta. In addition to her acting pursuits, Konoval is also a talented painter, writer, and choreographer.
