Kate Upton

Kate Upton is an American model and actress, born Katherine Elizabeth Upton on June 10, 1992, in St. Joseph, Michigan. She gained prominence in 2011 when she appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and went on to be the cover model for the 2012, 2013, and 2017 issues. Upton has also showcased her acting skills in films such as Tower Heist (2011), The Other Woman (2014), and The Layover (2017). She comes from a sporting family, with her mother being a former Texas state tennis champion and her father serving as a high school athletics director. Her great-grandfather is Frederick Upton, co-founder of Whirlpool Corporation. Upton spent her teenage years in Melbourne, Florida, where she excelled as an equestrian, competing nationally with her horse Roanie.
