Katie Dippold Biography
Katie Dippold (born January 10, 1980) is an American screenwriter, producer, actress, and comedian. She is best known for her work as a writer on the NBC series Parks and Recreation, as well as for writing the hit comedy film The Heat starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. Dippold also wrote the screenplay for the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot. Born and raised in Freehold Township, New Jersey, she graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in journalism. Dippold began her career in improvisational comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCBT) in New York City and continues to perform improv on stage at UCBT's venue in Los Angeles. She has also appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and was a cast member on the MTV series Boiling Points.
