Katie Rose Clarke

Katie Rose Clarke is an American musical theater actress, born on August 25, 1984, in Friendswood, Texas. She began her acting and singing career in the United Methodist Church and later graduated with a BFA in musical theatre from Sam Houston State University. Clarke gained national recognition for her portrayal of Clara Johnson in the Broadway production, live PBS broadcast, and national tour of The Light in the Piazza. She made her Broadway debut in the same show on December 9, 2005, succeeding Kelli O'Hara. In addition to her work in theater, Clarke has also performed in Craig Lucas' play Prayer for my Enemy and the musical revue Travels With My Discontent.
