Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American singer, songwriter, author, and television personality. She gained nationwide recognition after winning the inaugural season of American Idol in 2002, which led to a record deal with RCA Records. Her debut single, 'A Moment Like This', topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and became the best-selling single of 2002. Clarkson's debut studio album, 'Thankful' (2003), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. She transitioned to a pop rock sound for her second album, 'Breakaway' (2004), which sold over 12 million copies worldwide and won two Grammy Awards. Throughout her career, Clarkson has continued to release successful albums and has also made appearances on various television shows.
