Kenneth Gilbert (December 16, 1931 – April 15, 2020) was a Canadian harpsichordist, organist, musicologist, and music educator. Born in Montreal, Gilbert studied at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal under Yvonne Hubert and Gabriel Cusson. He furthered his studies in Paris, France with renowned musicians such as Nadia Boulanger, Maurice Duruflé, Ruggero Gerlin, Gaston Litaize, and Sylvie Spicket. Gilbert recorded several solo harpsichord albums featuring the music of J.S. Bach and Rameau, as well as chamber music albums with fellow Canadian artists. He was known for his expertise in Baroque music and his contributions to the field of music education.
