Kevin Mambo Biography
Kevin Mambo (born June 29, 1972) is a Zimbabwean-Canadian actor and musician. He gained recognition for his role as Marcus Williams on the CBS Daytime serial Guiding Light, earning him two Daytime Emmys. Mambo is also known for his portrayal of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti in the Broadway production of the musical Fela!. Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, and raised in Saskatoon, Canada, Mambo showed early musical talent and played multiple instruments. He studied Political Science and African History at McGill University before earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Southern California. In 2015, Mambo appeared in the Billie Holiday Theatre production of Jackie Alexander's Broth.
